  • The Assisi Underground is a movie made in 1985 Run time 2 Hours  This film sheds light on the role of the Catholic Church and the people of Assisi in rescuing Italian Jews from the Nazis in 1943.  Directed and written by Alexander Ramati
  • Assisi in Silence is a documentary made in 2002 Run time 30 minutes
  • A Documentary about a Franciscan priest who worked alongside the people of Assisi to hide and rescue Jews during WWII The film is available in both English and Italian, with subtitles.
  • When Rumi Meets Francis is a movie made in 2017 Run time 60 minutes  In a world troubled by violence, Pejman Tadayon, an Iranian musician who lives in Italy, expresses through music his conviction that what brings us together is far more important than what keeps us apart. Through his music, he evokes two personalities from the 13th century: Islam’s Sufi poet Jalalu-Din Rumi, and the Christian poet St Francis of Assisi.
